# Launch Guide

Deep dive into creating successful tokens

## Creating a Token on Yappr

### Before You Start

You'll need:

* **0.5 SOL** in your wallet (covers everything)
* **A logo** for your token (any image works)
* **An idea** worth sharing

That's literally it. Let's build.

### The Simple Steps

#### 1. Connect Your Wallet

Hit yappr.fun → Click "Connect Wallet" → Pick yours → Approve. Done in 5 seconds.

#### 2. Hit "Create Token"

Big button. Can't miss it.

#### 3. Tell Us About Your Token

**Name**: What's it called? (32 characters max) *Example: "Degen Savings Club"*

**Symbol**: The ticker (3-10 characters) *Example: "DSC"*

**Description**: Why should people care? (200 characters) *Example: "Finally, a place where degens can pretend to save money"*

**Logo**: Drop your image here *Pro tip: Memes work. Professional logos work. MS Paint works. Just make it memorable.*

#### 4. The Money Stuff (Already Set Up)

Your token gets **1 billion supply**:

* **80% for sale** (800M tokens)
* **20% for liquidity** (200M tokens)

The sale portion works like this:

* You buy first (any amount you want)
* Whatever's left splits 50/50 between KOLs and public

Price starts at $10k market cap, ends at $100k. Math handles the rest.

#### 5. Put Your Money Where Your Mouth Is

**Dev buy** (optional but recommended):

* Buy some of your own token
* Shows you actually believe in this
* Everyone can see you did it
* 0-10 SOL, your choice

#### 6. Launch This Bad Boy

Check everything twice (you can't change it later) → Hit "Create Token" → Approve in wallet.

**Boom. You're live.** 🚀

### What Happens Next?

#### Right Now: Dev Phase

Only you can buy. Take your time, buy what you want.

#### When You're Ready: KOL Phase

Flip the switch and give KOLs 24 hours exclusive access. They need 10+ Yapps in last 30 days to qualify.

#### After KOLs: Public Party

Everyone can buy. 1 SOL max per transaction. Democracy in action.

#### At $100k: The Great Migration

### Real Talk: How to Not Fail

#### Before Launch

* **Have people who care**: Empty launches die
* **Be real**: No "next Bitcoin" BS
* **Show up**: Dead creators = dead tokens

#### During Launch

* **Stay active**: Answer questions, post updates
* **Buy your own token**: Seriously, if you won't, why should anyone?
* **Build momentum**: First 48 hours matter most

#### After Launch

### When Things Go Wrong

**"Transaction Failed"** Add 0.001 SOL priority fee. Solana's just busy.

**"Can't upload image"** Make it smaller than 5MB. Any image format works.

**"I made a typo"** Sorry, it's permanent. Check everything twice.

### Pro Tips from the Trenches

💡 **Best time to launch?** When your community's active. Tuesday 2am isn't it.

💡 **How much to buy?** Enough to show commitment, not enough to look greedy. 1-5 SOL is the sweet spot.

💡 **Secret to success?** Give a damn. Seriously. People can tell when you care.
