# Reputation System

Earn allocation through participation, not popularity

## Yapp Score (Influence Score) Explained

### What’s a Yapp Score?

Your **influence, quantified.**\
It’s not about how many Twitter followers you bought. It’s about how much real attention and credibility you bring into Yappr.

Higher score = bigger KOL allocations. Simple.

But here’s the twist: we’re still experimenting. This is a live lab, not a finished product. The formula will evolve as we test fairness and alignment.

***

### The Triple Alignment

Yapp Score is the backbone of Yappr’s “triple alignment”:

* **Developers** → raise turns into marketing. Allocations go to KOLs who must create real buzz, not mercenary capital.
* **KOLs** → tweet/retweet to earn the right to buy. No paid shills, no flat fees. Allocation = influence.
* **Degens** → full transparency. You see exactly which KOLs got how much, based on their score. No hidden dumps, no ghost wallets.

***

### How the Score Works

#### Influence Score = Attention Score × Credibility Score

* **Attention Score** (live now)
  * Followers weighted by quality (via getmoni\_io API)
  * Virality of posts (via KaitoAI API)
  * Reputation signals (via ethos\_network API)
  * Real engagement, not bots
* **Credibility Score** (rolling out soon)
  * Your calls tracked over time
  * Good calls = higher credibility
  * Bad calls = credibility drain
  * Future allocation power depends on being right

This creates an uncomfortable truth:\
500k followers × 0 credibility = 0 influence.\
10k followers × high credibility = kingmaker.

***

### The Basics (still experimental)

* **Minimum activity**: 10+ Yapps in last 30 days, Postive or Neutral Reputation and 25+ Smart followers
* **Base allocation**: 1M tokens (0.1% of supply)
* **Hard cap**: 5% max, no matter how huge you are

***

### What Counts as a Yapp?

✅ **Good actions**

* Creating successful tokens
* Buying tokens that migrate
* Holding through migration
* Being active in token communities
* Bringing new users

❌ **Bad actions**

* Spam-launching dead tokens
* Buying then insta-dumping
* Ghosting after launch
* Fake engagement

***

### The (Not-So-Secret) Formula

We’re still tuning, but today we look at:

* **Launch Quality (30%)** → Did your tokens migrate? Did buyers make money?
* **Investment Success (30%)** → Do you back winners or losers? Do you hold or dump?
* **Community Value (25%)** → Do you help others? Answer questions? Share alpha?
* **Consistency (15%)** → Daily or just once a month? Sustained engagement?

⚠️ Note: This weighting will change. We’re experimenting.

### How to Increase Your Score

**Quick wins:**

* Buy and hold (don’t insta-dump)
* Launch quality tokens (no rugs)
* Engage with communities
* Bring friends into Yappr

**Long game:**

* Build reputation (consistency matters)
* Pick winners (research pays off)
* Support projects beyond buying
* Create long-term value

***

### What Your Score Gets You

* Bigger allocations in KOL phases
* Early access to new features
* Revenue share (planned)
* Respect (priceless)

***

### Common Questions

**“My follower count is huge, why is my score low?”**\
Because follower count isn’t influence. We care about high-signal followers and credibility.

**“Can I farm my score?”**\
You can try. But spammy activity usually backfires. Quality > quantity.

**“When does it update?”**\
Real-time. Every action shifts your score.

**“Can I lose score?”**\
Yes. Rugpull a project, dump on your community, or make bad calls → score down.

### The Philosophy

Influence is capital.\
Twitter followers can be bought.\
Yappr score must be earned.

We’re building the first launchpad that quantifies attention *and* credibility, so launches finally align builders, KOLs, and degens.

This isn’t finished. It’s an experiment in real time. But if it works, it changes everything.
